Deidre's roots lie in northern Minnesota, where she spent her childhood on a dairy farm in Greenbush. Her passion for animal care led her to Ridgewater College in Willmar, MN, where she immersed herself in the study of veterinary technology, graduating in 2004. Her dedication and expertise were swiftly recognized as she obtained her certification and joined the esteemed River Hills team in May 2024.
Endowed with boundless energy, Deidre's career choice reflects her desire for a dynamic, hands-on vocation that fosters continuous learning. The diverse and ever-evolving nature of her role as a technician in a clinic presents her with daily challenges that she embraces wholeheartedly. Deidre thrives on the technical intricacies of her work, whether it's performing surgeries, conducting blood draws, or expertly placing catheters.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Deidre shares a fulfilling life with her husband, whom she married in 2009. Their household is a lively one, with two spirited Australian Shepherds, named Asher and Lincoln, a beloved cat, a rabbit, and several chickens. In her moments of respite, Deidre can be found nurturing her garden, reveling in outdoor adventures such as camping and boating, and cheering on the Vikings.
