Megan is a native of Mankato, Minnesota. Her journey in veterinary medicine began at Dakota County Technical College, where she dedicated herself to earning a degree in veterinary technology, a feat she accomplished in 2023. It was during her time at River Hills, where she joined the team in 2020 as an assistant while pursuing her degree and certification, that Megan's passion for animal care truly flourished.
Her love for animals blossomed after she landed a job at Sibley Park following her high school graduation. It was there that she discovered her unparalleled affection for the day-to-day care that animals require, from administering medications to providing crucial wound treatments. As a veterinary technician, Megan finds immense joy in a variety of responsibilities, from assisting in surgeries to the heartwarming connections she forms with clients and their pets in the exam rooms. She also takes immense pride in educating clients, ensuring that they leave the clinic armed with valuable knowledge about how to best care for their beloved pets.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Megan shares her home with her husband and their two charming Ragdoll cats, Henderson and Ivy. When she's not immersed in her passion for animal care, Megan finds joy in the simple pleasures of life, cherishing moments spent with her family and friends, engaging in board games, video games, and getting lost in the pages of a good book.
