Mandi, a Mankato, MN native, has always been passionate about animal care. She graduated from Argosy University with an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology in October 2007 and began her career at a practice in the Twin Cities area. In October 2012, she found her way back to Mankato and joined the River Hills team.
Her love for animals was evident from a young age, as she volunteered at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center and cared for her family's horses. Mandi's decision to pursue a career as a technician was a natural choice, driven by her desire to educate clients. Over the years, she has built strong relationships with clients and goes the extra mile to ensure they feel informed and empowered about their pets' care.
At home, Mandi shares her life with her husband and daughter, along with a lively bunch of pets - one dog, three cats, two guinea pigs, three parakeets, and four finches. She is not just an animal lover but also an enthusiastic gardener and pollinator planter. When summer arrives, you can often find her unwinding in her hammock. Mandi also enjoys spending quality time with her family, cooking, and baking.
